The Secret Behind Robert’s Disappearance

When I met Robert, I truly fell in love. Our relationship felt like a fairy tale.

He was kind, caring, and the father of ten young children. His wife had passed away, so he was raising them all by himself.

When he asked me to marry him, I could hardly wait for our wedding day.

But one week before the wedding, I woke up and Robert was gone.

I panicked and was about to call the police when I noticed a letter on the kitchen table.

It said:

“I’m sorry. I can’t do this anymore.”

He didn’t just leave me.

He left all ten of his children behind too.

My heart felt completely shattered.

My heart told me I couldn’t relatives told me to send the children to foster care because THEY WERE NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY.

But how could I give them away when I had already grown to love them like my own children?

My heart told me I couldn’t abandon them.

So I adopted all ten of them.

I worked tirelessly to provide everything they needed.

My parents were furious with my decision and refused to help me.

As for men, they would walk away the moment they found out I had ten children.

But I was still happy because I had them.

They became my whole world.

Thirty years passed, and I never regretted that decision for even a second.

Every weekend, we all gathered at my house to spend time together and share meals.

Last weekend, while we were all together, someone knocked on my door.

I opened it and saw a man I had never met before.

He greeted me, handed me an envelope, and said:

—Ma’am, I am Robert’s lawyer. He instructed me to deliver this envelope to you on this exact day. It was his final request before he passed away.
